Kate Green, Director of Fundraising at National Star Foundation, won the ‘Award for Innovation’ on Thursday 29th March at The Citizen and Gloucestershire Echo’s Women in Business Awards in association with Coutts.

Peter Cottingham, who was Chairman of the National Star College’s £15.4 million Star Appeal fundraising campaign, won Trustee of the year at the Cheltenham Volunteer Awards ceremony last week.
Staff from National Star College have been celebrating after returning from the Great South West Care Awards 2011 triumphant. Five staff from the College were shortlisted finalists for the awards and two of the five were winners on the night.
A horse statue painted by local artist PJ Crook will is going to be auctioned off to raise money for National Star in November.
