IIP (Investors in People)
We have achieved the Silver award for Investors in People which puts us in the top 2% of employers with IIP recognition.
Investors in Careers
We are pleased to announce that the college is being reassessed for the Investor in Careers Award. We last achieved this back in 2008.
The Investor in Careers Award is a quality standard which will measure the quality of our Careers Education and Guidance programme in the light of Government legislation and guidelines.
It was remarked on by Ofsted as a highly respected award. Reassessment takes place on October 4th and hopefully we will be proud to display our new Investor in Careers Award plaque soon after!
We have the the Two ticks Disability Status Award and have introduced our own Disability Charter.
Professional Code of Practice
In addition, the college operates a professional code of practice which sets out standards of behaviour with which all staff are expected to comply.
