National Star College is working in partnership with a range of county councils to increase independent travel through the multi award winning Lift Training Programme.

Lift Training is an inclusive programme which provides a range of services to support disabled, disadvantaged and vulnerable people to access their local communities through a range of transport options. Lift Training has a 80% success rate and provides independent travel training to access school, college, employment, training and other positive activities.

Lift Training is a free programme that offers independent travel training with the support of a Travel Trainer who will work 1:1 to practise and range of practical travel skills.
