In partnership with the British Olympic Association, Sport England and Team GB the Gold Challenge provides an opportunity for you to not just watch the Olympics but take part AND raise money for charity at the same time!

There are 3 ways to participate:

Olympic Sport Challenge
Learn Olympic or Paralympic sports by taking on between 5-30 challenges choosing from a list of 30 sports*.
The Gold Challenge website will guide you in finding local clubs where you can learn your chosen sport/s.

2012km Challenge
Cover 2012km, 201.2km or 20.12km over your chosen period of time by either: Wheelchair, Running, Walking, Cycling, Swimming, Canoeing/Kayaking, Horse riding, Rowing, Sailing, Windsurfing

Gold Challenge in a Day
You or your team must complete a walk, cycle, row, run and swim at your chosen level, back to back recording your total time (including transitions). All disciplines can be done outdoors or in a gym.

Notes
You can enter individually or as a team of up to 30 people and you should aim to complete your challenge before the start of the London Olympic and Paralympic Games in July 2012.
If you are considering taking part in Gold Challenge and one or more of your group are aged between 5-15 there are 3 packages that form part of the Youth and Family Gold Challenge. For more details visit www.family.goldchallenge.org or contact us.

* For the Olympic Sport Challenge you must take part in at least three hours of coaching in that sport. So, for example, if you choose
the Five Sport Challenge, you will pick five sports and you must do three hours in each sport.
