Young people come to National Star College with a range of conditions. For some, particularly those with conditions such as hearing difficulties or autism, busy and noisy environments can be very stressful and confusing.
We are adapting an existing building, with full access to all the specialist facilities at National Star College, but in a quiet setting which is essential for these young people to reach their potential.
We urgently need your help…
To fit out a room we need to raise £15,000, which will fund:
- a hoist to allow wheelchair users to transfer from bed to bathroom easily
- innovative technology to enable people with limited movement to control their environment
- a specialist bed and desk.
