Our links with schools, colleges and training providers enables you to choose, with advice and guidance, the right path for your specific needs and ambitions.
Young people from local schools are welcomed to the Star College for a taste of the programmes on offer here, including:

- Horticulture and land-based activities
- Independent living skills
- Mobility and travel training
The College can also offer extended work placements in supported work environment including our college shop, fitness reception, and learning centres.
And if you’re looking to development your independence skills, we can even arrange short residentials as part of your curriculum at another college. You’ll stay in our purpose-built accommodation and live, learn and train with us.
Or you can choose to come to us on a part time or block day programme for specialist education, therapy and personal care to accelerate your learning.
We’re part of the local 14 – 19 Consortium as well, which means we work with other schools and colleges to build programmes that are right for you.
