Fundraising Challenges and Events
When you’re generous enough to give your time and energy to raising funds for the College, we want to make sure it turns into a memorable experience for you too.
That’s why we organise a series of breathtaking ‘challenges’ which could see you trekking 84 miles along Hadrian’s Wall, or 33 miles through the mountains of Nepal – one of the most spectacular trekking destinations in the world.
You raise money through sponsorship – and experience an adventure that will count among your most exciting, and worthwhile ventures ever.

Meanwhile, there are marathons to be run, sponsored walks, parachute jumps, bring and buy sales, cheese and wine evenings – and, of course, your own ideas for fundraising.
Whatever you choose to do, you can be sure we’ll support you every step of the way. Our fundraising team will be on hand to offer expert advice on planning, advertising and running your event. Why not contact us with your idea today?
Of course, there are other less demanding ways to help us raise funds… and that’s to support events organised by the Star College. Our lavish summer ball, and fun-filled summer fete are just two of our most successful events – do look out for the dates, and book your tickets well in advance!

Parachute Challenge
Aim high with a sponsored Parachute Challenge
If you have an adventurous spirit, this one’s for you. Simply raise a minimum sponsorship of around £395, and you’ll not only cover the cost of a hair-raising parachute jump, but you’ll raise £140 for the Star Appeal!
But remember – the more you raise, the more we’ll receive!
