Temporary Speech and Language Therapist

£22,000.00 per annum pro rata | Fixed Term - End of July 2015 | Ullenwood, Cheltenham | 12 hours per week during term time

We are seeking a qualified practitioner with HPCP registration and RCSLT membership, to join the existing team of experienced therapists and assistants. The successful candidate will have interest and experience of working with clients with PMLD, and Autism, providing direct and indirect therapeutic support in a range of settings, and knowledge of AAC, PECs, Signing and Intensive Interaction.

Positive Behavioural Support Co-ordinator - circa £30,000.00 per annum

Term time only | 44 hours per week | 39 weeks per year | Location: GL53 9QU, Near Cheltenham / Gloucester

National Star is an “Outstanding” specialist residential college providing further education to young adults with complex physical and learning disabilities, autism and acquired brain injuries.

We are looking to recruit a dedicated and respectful specialist practitioner to lead, promote and facilitate a positive behaviour framework at the college. You will work with a diverse student cohort with a range of behavioural, emotional and social development needs.

To be successful, you will have experience of working directly with clients who have demonstrated challenging behaviour and have a proven track record of supervising staff from a variety of disciplines, service development and staff training
