All posts are term time and based at our main Ullenwood site unless otherwise stated.

College Nurses

Comparable to Band 5 - Ullenwood, part time term time only - 18 hours per week including alternate weekends

You will have a minimum of four years post registration experience and possess excellent clinical, communication, record keeping and organisational skills.

Facilitator

All year - full and part time - £8.09 per hour - All locations

You will assist students with daily activities such as personal care, classroom support, developing independence skills and enjoying a full social life. Hours of work will include weekends and a mixture of early and late shifts on a rota basis. Previous experience is desirable but not essential.

Interviews will be held on 5th July 2013

Senior Facilitator

£9.52 per hour- Term time

You will lead a team of Facilitators to provide a high standard of individualised care and encourage students' personal development

You will be able to work on your own initiative, have good people skills and be able to plan and organise. You will have at least 2 years care experience and ideally an NVQ Level 3 in Care (or equivalent) in care of a willingness to obtain this.

Interviews will be held on 2nd July 2013

Driver

£7.33 per hour - 30 hours per week - Term time

You will need to be an experienced minibus driver with a D1 category. Working variable hours between 7.30am and 10pm Monday to Friday

Bar Person

£7.45 per hour - 35.5 hours per week - Term time

You will be providing maternity cover in our student bar and working one day as a General Assistant in the kitchen. Variable hours which include weekend working

Sunday 1.15 - 10.00pm
Monday 4.00 - 10.00pm
Tuesday 8.30am-5pm
Wednesday 4.00 - 10.00pm
Thursday 10.30am-7.00pm in the Kitchen

Catering Assistant

£6.72 per hour - 10 hours - term time

You will be working in the college kitchen on Saturdays during term time - 8.30am - 7pm

Work Skills Tutor – Steps into Work Programme
12 month fixed term contract – term time
Leicester
Salary payable at £19,400 - £20,370 per annum

Steps into Work is an innovative project that brings together National Star College, Remploy, Burton and South Derbyshire College and a major local employer with the shared goal of developing sustainable pathways into employment for students with physical and learning disabilities. For young people on the programme, it provides the opportunity to develop work skills in real work placements.

We are seeking a dynamic and entrepreneurial tutor who can work with students to:

• Develop vocational skills in a workplace environment
• Increase confidence and the skills needed to access employment
• Enter into paid employment at the end of the programme
