CTLLS is for those who:
- Are deemed to be in an Associate Teacher role, or
- Would like, or require, an introduction to teaching in the Lifelong Learning Sector, or
- Are seeking career progression within their area of work,
- Have access to 30 teaching practice hours,
- Teach on a one to one and / or group basis,
- Are trainers in the industry.
This award is designed to develop your professional capabilities in becoming a self-evaluative and reflective education professional, planning, resourcing and managing, assessing and evaluating learning in your specialist area. You’ll build your understanding of the Lifelong Learning Sector and how you might play an active role in its future development by working as part of a team of education professionals.
In addition to working as an Associate Teacher in the Sector and being observed throughout this time, you will study the following:
- Preparing to Teach
- Planning and Enabling Learning
- Principles and Practice of Assessment
- Delivering Employability Skills
There will be one theory and one practical assessment for each unit at Level 3 or Level 4.
